Scheduled Ship Date Time Always Reset To 23:59:00 in Oracle Apps R11i

Posted by: Edi Yanto on: May 9, 2009

When entering sales order and saving/booking it (depends on auto schedule), the schedule ship date always has a timestamp of 23:59:00. We are not getting the desired ship date for shipping our sales order. The expected behavior is take the timestamp of Requested Date.

The cause of this problem has been identified in Bug 4358596 by Metalink.

Steps for solving this problem:

  1. Apply patch 4278114 based on Doc ID 332432.1
  2. Confirm file mscprf.ldt in version 115.48.11510.13 or higher with the following command:
    strings -a $MSC_TOP/patch/115/import/US/mscprf.ldt | grep -i ‘$Header’
  3. Set the profile MSC:Reatin time for non-ATPable items to Yes
